2026 Youth Board

President
Paislee Buckle
Hello, my name is Paislee Buckle and I'm this year's 2026 NDQHYA President! I'm a sophomore in high school, and I've been showing my whole life. I show in the L 1 14-18 and the Youth all around and ranch classes with my home trained horse "Dressin In Chrome"; as well as hopefully showing my 2 year old a bit this year! I'll be showing and representing North Dakota at the Level 1 East show again this year, where I won the all around last year. I'm excited to be the NDQHYA President again this year, and hopefully we'll get to do some exciting fundraisers and all have a great show season!President: Paislee Buckle

Vice President
Kinley Craig
Kinley is trotting into her role as the new Vice President of the NDAQHYA and is very curious to see what "being in charge" actually means. When she's not in a board meeting (snacks included), you can find her cruising around on her Segway or bumping volleyballs with friends. Her trusty partner in crime is Dualin Chicken, better known as Slim Jim, and together they love ranch events, especially reining and games. If there's fun to be had, Kinley and Slim Jim are already there.

Secretary
Aspyn Thelen:

I am a senior at Garrison High School and I am the chapter treasurer for the Garrison FFA. I love to be outside at the lake and with the horses. This fall I will be attending Dawson Community College in Glendive, Montana for welding.

Treasurer
Ava Craig

Ava is the Treasurer for the NDQHYA and the proud rider of Shine to Prescribe, aka "Raio." When she's not zooming around barrels or tackling ranch events, she's probably talking about horses, hanging out with friends, or being outnumbered by her three wild (but adorable) pups.

Director
Jayda Alexis Wolf

My name is Jayda Wolf, and I am a sixth grader at Viking Elementary in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. I show my horse, SH Americasweetheart-also known as Sweetie-an eight-year-old bay mare. Outside of AQHA, I am involved in dance, volleyball, basketball, running, and my church youth group.
I love showing with NDQHYA because I get to spend time with all of my horse friends doing what we love most. I am excited to help grow our youth association and meet new horse friends along the way. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming show season and want to wish the best of luck to all of our NDQHYA members this year!

I love being outside and spending time with my family, friends and animals. I am excited to be on the board for the NDQHYA! I want to help grow our organization, help others find joy in horses, and in showing. This year we will be competing in the L 1 13&U W/T classes at shows. I can't wait for the fun to begin!
